A local family of 8 has been building a 3-story ark for some time now. Longer than a football field, they claim that their God told them to build this ark because there will be a big flood coming where every living thing on earth would be destroyed. They plan to bring enough food and two of every kind of animal into the ark with them to preserve all the species of the earth.
"This guy is crazy," claims a neighbor. "We have been watching him and his family build this thing for years and we've never seen a flood. Now he even wants to take animals inside."
The local meteorologist has confirmed that there will be heavy rain starting next week. However, chances of flooding remain slim.

Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed by burning sulfur
Tragedy has hit the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Thousands have been killed in yesterday's fire. Lot and Abram were the only two survivors. Even Lot's wife, who turned back to look at the city being consumed by fire, was killed instantly as she turned into a pillar of salt.

Residents complain about abandoned construction site
A construction site in the middle of the city has been left abandoned for months. Residents have been complaining to city councillors about safety hazards around the site.
The project, known as the Tower of Babel, was designed by leading architect, Pry D. Fulle, who's vision was to build a tower that reached up to the heavens, taller than any other tower ever built. Construction of the tower halted abruptly when language barriers suddenly caused communication breakdown among the builders.
"One day, we came to work and, suddenly, everyone was speaking a different language," said a former worker from the site. "We couldn't understand anyone anymore so people started leaving the site to look for other jobs."
A condo developer has put in bids to purchase the site from the city.

Raging flood destroys the earth, 8 survivors found
The stench of animal waste filled the air as 8 survivors from the flood stepped out of the 450 feet long ark, the length of 4 football fields. Animals, two by two, exited the ark as floodwaters dried up after 40 days and 40 nights of rain.
The flood waters rose and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. The mountains were covered to a depth of more than twenty feet.
Officials estimate that every living thing that moved on the ground perished – birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. The floodwaters destroyed all the corruption and violence on the earth.
"God told me to build an ark," said Noah, whose wife, 3 sons and daughters-in-law were the only survivors of the flood. "God also told us to bring 2 of every kind of animal into the ark with us. We did not know what to expect but we did as the LORD commanded and entered the ark before the flood started.”
A rainbow in the sky appeared to mark a promise from the LORD that he would never again destroy all living creatures with a flood.

Older brother charged in the murder of younger brother
Cain, the firstborn of Adam and Eve, was calm and showed no remorse or emotion as he described the murder of his younger brother, Abel. Cain told investigators he attacked his brother Abel and killed him in the field.
“The slaying is the first case of murder in the history of mankind”, said the investigator. “This murder comes as a shock to the community.”
The prosecutor filed charges of murder against Cain. The family did not immediately return messages for comment.
Cain told investigators he was angry with his brother. Cain drew up a plan to kill his brother Abel by luring him out to the field where Abel normally kept flocks and Cain worked the soil. Initially, when questioned about Abel’s whereabouts, Cain replied, “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
A source close to the family who choose to remain anonymous, said that Abel would offer fat portions from the firstborn of his flock to the LORD, while Cain withheld the best fruit of his harvest from the LORD.
“The LORD looked with favor on Abel’s offering”, said the source. “But unfortunately, the LORD did not favor Cain’s offering.”
Cain was sentenced to life as a restless wanderer on the earth and has settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.
